They blessed their sixth-generation distiller Roberto Serrall\u00e9s to hand-select some time-honored charred American white oak barrels from their oldest warehouses. When a formidable 20 years passed, they picked the best samples from those 36 barrels and aged them some more to really balance out the aromas and create a truly intricate blend. And they did \u2014 so much so that it has been compared to the elegance of a Cognac. This masterpiece only comes in 1,865 bottles, a number that matches the company\u2019s birthdate. As a special limited-edition, this gem is pretty hard to get, but that is not its only allure \u2014 it is also a wonderful mash of fruit, vanilla, and oaky notes harmonized to perfection. <\/p>\n<p>Grab your bottle of this luxurious Rum today!                            <\/p>\n<div class=\"caskers-brand-info\">\n<h2 class=\"story-subtitle\">About Don Q<\/h2>\n<p>                                            In 1820, Don Juan Sebastian Serrall\u00e9s emigrated from Spain and arrived in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. After living frugally and saving carefully for many years, Serrall\u00e9s began a small family in the city. Four decades later, his son founded Hacienda Teresa \u2014 a sugar plantation \u2014 just outside the city borders. Situated in southern part of Puerto Rico, Hacienda Teresa enjoys generous amounts of sunlight and large flatlands, making it ideal for the cultivation of fresh, juicy sugarcane. In 1865, the Serrall\u00e9s family began distilling the excess sugar cane harvested from Hacienda Teresa into rum . Today, Felix J.
